Sacred Ekadashi Seva for Hungry and Injured Vanars

Ekadashi is a sacred day known for devotion, self-control, kindness, and charity. On this auspicious occasion, Daanpatra Foundation brings forward a compassionate campaign dedicated to Ekadashi Vanar Seva and treatment for Vanars. Through this initiative, we aim to feed hungry monkeys, support injured Vanars, and provide timely care to those who silently suffer on streets, temple areas, and open surroundings.

Vanars have a deep spiritual connection in Indian culture. They remind us of devotion, strength, service, and the blessings of Lord Hanuman. Yet many Vanars today live without proper food, water, and medical attention. Some are injured in accidents, some suffer from wounds, infections, weakness, or seasonal illnesses, while many roam daily in search of something to eat. Ekadashi gives us a meaningful opportunity to turn our devotion into action by serving these innocent beings.

Why Ekadashi Vanar Seva Matters

Ekadashi is considered a highly auspicious day for performing good deeds. Many devotees observe fasting, prayer, and charity to seek peace, positivity, and spiritual merit. Donating food and treatment support for helpless Vanars on Ekadashi is a beautiful way to practice compassion. It is not only an act of charity but also a reflection of humanity, devotion, and care for living beings.

Feeding hungry Vanars helps them survive with dignity. Providing treatment to injured Vanars gives them relief from pain and prevents their condition from becoming worse. A small donation can help arrange fruits, food, clean water, medicines, first aid, rescue support, and veterinary care. When we serve those who cannot ask for help, our seva becomes even more meaningful.

The Pain They Cannot Express

Many Vanars suffer silently. Some are hurt due to road accidents, sharp wires, falls, fights, or lack of safe shelter. Others become weak due to hunger, dehydration, or untreated wounds. Unlike humans, they cannot speak about their pain. They cannot visit a clinic or ask someone for medicine. Their helpless eyes and slow movements often tell a story of hunger, fear, and suffering.

Daanpatra Foundation is committed to supporting such Vanars through regular feeding and medical assistance. Our campaign focuses on reaching Vanars in need and providing them with the right help at the right time. With your support, we can reduce their suffering and bring comfort to their lives.

How Your Donation Helps

Your contribution to this Ekadashi Vanar Seva campaign can create a direct impact. It helps provide fresh fruits, nutritious food, water, medicines, wound care, and basic treatment support for injured and weak Vanars. Donations also help the team continue regular seva so that Vanars do not remain dependent on uncertain food sources.

Your Seva Can Support:

  • Food and fruits for hungry Vanars
  • Clean water support during heat and dehydration
  • First aid for injured Vanars
  • Medicines and treatment assistance
  • Care for weak, sick, and helpless Vanars

Turn Devotion Into Compassion

On Ekadashi, many people seek blessings through prayers and fasting. But true devotion becomes more powerful when it is joined with kindness. Serving Vanars on this sacred day is a way to offer compassion to beings connected with faith and devotion. Even a small act of seva can become a source of relief for a hungry or injured Vanar.

Daanpatra Foundation invites you to become a part of this meaningful campaign. Your support can help us feed more Vanars, treat the injured, and continue this noble work with dedication. Let this Ekadashi become a day of kindness, healing, and selfless service.

Frequently Asked Questions

Daan Patra Foundation is a Sanatani, service-oriented NGO working to support temple (mandir) construction & renovation, gauraksha & animal welfare, and social upliftment through donations raised on our own crowdfunding platform. We connect willing donors with verified, dharmic causes so their daan reaches the right place.

A campaign (for example, for a mandir, annadaan, or a social cause) is created on the platform with details, images, and required funds. Devotees and well-wishers can donate online via UPI, cards, net-banking, or wallets. The collected amount is then used strictly for the stated purpose, and updates can be shared on the same campaign page.

You can support mandir construction/renovation, Sanatan dharma activities, gaushala & animal care, education & medical help for the needy, as well as other seva-based projects verified by Daan Patra. When a campaign is live, you’ll see its goal, requirement, and progress.

Where applicable, donations made through Daan Patra Foundation can be issued a receipt for your records. If the campaign mentions tax benefit (80G/12A or similar), you will get the receipt on the email you provide at checkout. Please enter correct name, email and number while donating.

Daan Patra lists only verified or internally managed dharmic/seva campaigns. Campaign owners are asked to share photos, bills, or work-in-progress updates which can be published on the campaign page so donors can see the impact.

Yes. If you are managing a mandir, a renovation, annadaan, or any Sanatani social initiative, you can apply to raise funds through Daan Patra. Submit your details and our team will verify the requirement. Start here: Start a Campaign.

You can reach us through the Contact page on the website, or write to our support team with your donation receipt/details. We’re happy to help you with campaign verification, donation confirmation, or creating a new dharmic fundraiser.
