A Drop of Kindness for Thirsty Vanar Lives

A compassionate Nirjala Ekadashi Vanar Seva and Treatment Campaign by Daanpatra Foundation, dedicated to feeding, healing, and protecting helpless Vanars with love and care.

The Sacred Meaning of Nirjala Ekadashi

Nirjala Ekadashi is considered one of the most sacred and powerful Ekadashi observances. On this holy day, devotees offer prayers, observe fasts, and perform acts of charity with deep faith. The word “Nirjala” means without water, and this day reminds us about sacrifice, devotion, discipline, and compassion. While many devotees observe this vrat for spiritual growth, it is also a beautiful opportunity to serve those who silently suffer from hunger, thirst, illness, and neglect.

In the intense heat, countless Vanars struggle to find food, clean water, and medical care. Many wander on roads, temple areas, forests, and nearby settlements in search of survival. Some are weak due to hunger, some are injured, and some suffer silently without any treatment. Through this campaign, Daanpatra Foundation aims to turn devotion into action by providing food, water, care, and treatment to needy Vanars.

Why Vanar Seva Matters

Vanars hold a special place in Indian tradition and faith. They are deeply connected with Lord Hanuman, who symbolizes strength, devotion, courage, and selfless service. Serving Vanars on a sacred day like Nirjala Ekadashi is not only an act of kindness, but also a meaningful way to honor the spirit of compassion taught by our culture. When we feed a hungry Vanar or help an injured one receive treatment, we become a part of a greater purpose.

Many Vanars face accidents, wounds, infections, dehydration, and lack of nutrition. Without timely care, their pain increases and their chances of survival decrease. A small contribution from your side can help arrange fruits, grains, water, medicines, rescue support, and basic treatment. Your support can become a source of relief for those who cannot speak, ask, or explain their pain.

Daanpatra Foundation’s Compassionate Initiative

Through this Nirjala Ekadashi Vanar Seva Campaign, Daanpatra Foundation is taking a step towards protecting and caring for helpless Vanars. The campaign focuses on providing nutritious food, clean drinking water, and treatment support to sick and injured Vanars. Every effort is made with care, sensitivity, and respect for animal life.

The aim is not just to feed them for a day, but to bring awareness about their suffering and inspire people to choose kindness. On a day when devotees remember the value of sacrifice and devotion, your donation can become a living prayer. It can bring relief to a thirsty Vanar, strength to a hungry one, and healing to an injured soul.

Your Donation Can Bring Real Relief

Every act of giving counts. Whether it is a small donation for food, water, medicines, or emergency treatment, your contribution can create a visible difference. A bowl of water can save a life in the heat. A simple meal can bring energy to a weak Vanar. Timely treatment can reduce pain and give a suffering animal another chance to live.

This Nirjala Ekadashi, let your devotion become seva. Let your faith become kindness. Join Daanpatra Foundation in this noble effort and help us serve Vanars who are waiting for care, protection, and compassion. Your support can become hope for many speechless lives.

Frequently Asked Questions

Daan Patra Foundation is a Sanatani, service-oriented NGO working to support temple (mandir) construction & renovation, gauraksha & animal welfare, and social upliftment through donations raised on our own crowdfunding platform. We connect willing donors with verified, dharmic causes so their daan reaches the right place.

A campaign (for example, for a mandir, annadaan, or a social cause) is created on the platform with details, images, and required funds. Devotees and well-wishers can donate online via UPI, cards, net-banking, or wallets. The collected amount is then used strictly for the stated purpose, and updates can be shared on the same campaign page.

You can support mandir construction/renovation, Sanatan dharma activities, gaushala & animal care, education & medical help for the needy, as well as other seva-based projects verified by Daan Patra. When a campaign is live, you’ll see its goal, requirement, and progress.

Where applicable, donations made through Daan Patra Foundation can be issued a receipt for your records. If the campaign mentions tax benefit (80G/12A or similar), you will get the receipt on the email you provide at checkout. Please enter correct name, email and number while donating.

Daan Patra lists only verified or internally managed dharmic/seva campaigns. Campaign owners are asked to share photos, bills, or work-in-progress updates which can be published on the campaign page so donors can see the impact.
