A Sacred Purnima Seva for Hungry and Injured Vanars

Purnima is considered one of the most auspicious days for kindness, charity, prayer, and selfless service. On this sacred full moon day, devotees believe that every act of compassion carries deep spiritual value. Daanpatra Foundation brings this meaningful campaign to serve helpless Vanars who struggle every day for food, care, safety, and medical support. Through Purnima Vanar Seva and Treatment, we aim to provide fresh food, basic care, and medical help to injured and weak monkeys who are often ignored in their pain.

Why Vanar Seva on Purnima Matters

Vanars hold a special place in Indian culture and devotion, as they are closely connected with Lord Hanuman Ji. Feeding and helping them is seen as an act of compassion, faith, and service. On Purnima, when people perform daan, prayers, and seva for peace and blessings, serving hungry and injured Vanars becomes even more meaningful. Many of these innocent beings live near temples, roadsides, forests, and crowded areas where they face hunger, thirst, injuries, infections, and lack of proper care.

Hunger and Pain Are Their Daily Struggles

Every day, many Vanars search for food in unsafe places. Some are forced to eat leftovers, plastic-covered waste, or spoiled food, which harms their health. Small babies, old Vanars, and injured ones suffer the most because they cannot move quickly or fight for food. Apart from hunger, several Vanars also suffer from wounds, weakness, skin infections, accidents, and untreated injuries. Without timely support, their pain increases, and many lose their strength to survive.

Daanpatra Foundation’s Purnima Vanar Seva

Through this campaign, Daanpatra Foundation is working to provide nutritious food and basic treatment support to needy Vanars. The seva includes feeding them fruits, healthy food items, and clean eatables that help reduce hunger and improve their strength. Along with food support, the campaign also focuses on identifying injured and weak Vanars who need care. Your contribution helps arrange medicines, first-aid support, treatment assistance, and care for those who are silently suffering.

Your Donation Can Become Their Relief

A small donation from your side can make a big difference in their lives. It can help provide food to hungry Vanars, medical support to injured ones, and care to weak and helpless animals who cannot ask for help. Your support can turn their pain into comfort and their hunger into relief. On this sacred Purnima, your act of giving can become a blessing not only for them but also for your own heart.

A Seva Filled with Faith and Compassion

True seva is not only about offering help; it is about feeling the pain of those who cannot speak. Vanars may not be able to express their suffering in words, but their hungry eyes, weak bodies, and injured wounds clearly show their need for kindness. Purnima gives us a beautiful opportunity to offer food, care, and healing in the name of devotion and humanity.

Frequently Asked Questions

Daan Patra Foundation is a Sanatani, service-oriented NGO working to support temple (mandir) construction & renovation, gauraksha & animal welfare, and social upliftment through donations raised on our own crowdfunding platform. We connect willing donors with verified, dharmic causes so their daan reaches the right place.

A campaign (for example, for a mandir, annadaan, or a social cause) is created on the platform with details, images, and required funds. Devotees and well-wishers can donate online via UPI, cards, net-banking, or wallets. The collected amount is then used strictly for the stated purpose, and updates can be shared on the same campaign page.

You can support mandir construction/renovation, Sanatan dharma activities, gaushala & animal care, education & medical help for the needy, as well as other seva-based projects verified by Daan Patra. When a campaign is live, you’ll see its goal, requirement, and progress.

Where applicable, donations made through Daan Patra Foundation can be issued a receipt for your records. If the campaign mentions tax benefit (80G/12A or similar), you will get the receipt on the email you provide at checkout. Please enter correct name, email and number while donating.

Daan Patra lists only verified or internally managed dharmic/seva campaigns. Campaign owners are asked to share photos, bills, or work-in-progress updates which can be published on the campaign page so donors can see the impact.
